I don’t know about you guys, but mornings around here are busy. Outside chores, inside chores, helping the kids with school work, entertaining a toddler, answering the phone, preparing lunch. . .and yet we’ve been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
93% of Americans agree with that statement, but unfortunately only 44% actually eat it.
Join me over at Intentional by Grace today to see my recipe for Easy-to-Freeze Sourdough Pumpkin Waffles that will help you fit that hearty and nutritious meal into even the most chaotic of mornings.
Healthy and delicious! I love it!
I would also love to have you share this (or any other of your recipes) at Wednesday Extravaganza – my Foodie Link Party, and maybe claim a spot on my Wall of Fame. Here is the link:

Can’t wait to see you there!
Thanks for the invite – I’m glad to share!
We used to make huge batches of waffles and freeze them, best breakfast ever! Now, if I could only get into the sourdough habit lol
Yum those looks so good! Cute blog, I love it.

P.S. I’m doing a $50 Shabby Apple giveaway on my blog. You should check it out here: http://meandmr.com/post/35113285949/shabby-apple-50-giveaway
Paula!! I made these waffles for our Christmas breakfast and they were WONDERFUL!! I had purchased a sourdough starter from Sourdough International and the one I have is from the Yukon. They also have sourdough starter that will work in rye flour, which I am looking forward to trying!
Thanks for the great recipe! All the family loved them. The best news of all, I ate wheat without any of the typical joint pain!! And I ate these two days in a row… just to make sure! 😉
Hi Aunt Mae!
I’m so glad these worked for you! I was ecstatic when I heard that even GF people could possibly eat sourdough. Travis has been eating pancakes and pizza crust with no joint problems either – I make sure not to feed the sourdough I plan to use for full 24 hrs before I use it though.
Have you tried my easy Pizza Crust? One ingredient. Seriously!
