Our oldest son is fond of saying, “In this family, our motto should be, ‘plans change’.” And his tongue-in-cheek joke isn’t far from the truth! Neither Travis or I could have foreseen all the changes – both heartbreaking and surprising – God would bring to our lives.
One of the areas we’ve had to adapt is with food. Because our health journey has changed several times, it’s also changed the way we eat.
Travis, my hunk of burnin’ love, has gluten allergies so he eats gluten-free.
The kiddos and I are not gluten-free, however the health benefits of sourdough are such that I rarely make bread products anymore unless it’s a sourdough or soaked recipe or one made with coconut or almond flour.
