  • New Client Call

    Your Metabolism Unlocked program begins with a 45-minute call where we’ll dig deep into your fat loss history, lifestyle, and problem areas. You’ll have several questionnaires for homework so I can help pinpoint your specific road blocks.

  • Food Journal

    One of your first assignments is keeping a Food Journal. Honesty is key here. Don’t adjust what you eat – don’t feel embarrassed or guilty. Sharing what you currently eat is KEY to understanding how your body’s metabolism works.

  • Melting the Fat

    As we delve into your questionnaires and Food Journal, I can begin to understand how your hormones, metabolism, and fat-burning mechanisms work specifically for you. Together we’ll create a strategy to melt away the fat.

  • Creating the New You

    As you continue to Food Journal, we’ll keep tabs on how you’re feeling and the progress we’re seeing. We’ll continue to tweak and adjust our strategy until we find the perfect formula that turns your body from fat-storing to fat-burning.

I've sat where you've sat.

Tired, frustrated, and disillusioned that once again my latest weight loss attempt had ended in failure.

I craved chocolate, sweets, salty snacks, and bread. I could go 2-3 weeks without a crumb passing my lips, but then that single brownie I thought I could handle turned into two and three more.

Before I knew it, I was allowing myself several days of 'snacks' which turned into a week.

The numbers on the scale dictated my day. The clothes that hung in my closet (too small, but one day I'd get there!) - mocked me. I avoided clothes shopping. I blamed multiple pregnancies (7), age, heredity, and a dryer that shrank clothes.

But then one day I stopped blaming. I stood back and realized that God didn't create us to become consumed with our weight, but to take care of the bodies He's given us. We're each uniquely created - from the color of our eyes to the way our body gains and loses weight.

Metabolism Unlocked is kind of like detective work. We’re going to work together to uncover the specific formula that changes your body from fat-storing mode to fat-burning mode.

We find that formula by making small changes each week and assessing your progress through 3 mediums: hunger, energy, and cravings (HEC). Along with HEC, we’ll be tracking your progress with fat calipers, measurements, and other body assessments.

Depending on your symptoms, we’ll work on healing your metabolism, balancing the hormones that control fat-storing vs. fat-burning, and tweaking your diet, supplements, and workout program as we go - until we find the sweet spot your body needs.

My goal isn’t to overwhelm you. We’re going to work at your pace, with your schedule, and with your likes/dislikes. This isn’t a race - this is discovering the keys that make sustainable fat loss a reality. It may take time as we tweak and adjust, but if you stick with the process, the results will come.
