Homemade Essential Oil Gift Ideas

Hello everyone! I hope your Christmas season is going well! Today we’re going to explore a few homemade essential oil gift ideas! I don’t know about you, but I love to make holiday gifts. These homemade essential oil gift ideas make great Christmas gifts, & to know that these gifts are all natural is just icing on the cake.

Ready? Put on some cozy Christmas music, plug in those sparkly lights, and let’s start!

Homemade Essential Oil Gift Ideas

Brown Sugar Orange Scrub

Things you will need:

  • A small glass jar of your choice – I like this jar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • desired drops of Young Living orange essential oil
  • Orange zest (optional)

This scrub is so, so easy! The brown sugar helps exfoliate and soften (hello unmanicured nails!), and the orange essential oil is so rejuvenating! Just mix all of these ingredients up and voila!

I have the ingredients set to create a more coarse and less oily mixture. If you would like a softer and more oily mixture, start with a 1/2 cup of oil instead of the 1/3 cup. I personally like to add around 3-4 drops of orange essential oil, but it’s all up to you! Start with a couple drops and see how you like it. Pack it all into your adorable jar, and you can use a sweet and pretty label to dress it up!

For A Relaxing Bath…

Soothing Epsom Bath Salts

Things you will need:

Again, this is another super easy recipe! Stir the Epsom salt and baking soda until well combined in a small bowl. Gently stir in the essential oils and add to your jar. This recipe is versatile, so you can add whatever oils you’d like! Lavender and Stress Away are very soothing, calming oils, so this is definitely a more relaxing recipe.

The Scents Of The Holidays Fill The Air…

Christmas Scented Room Freshener Spray

Things you will need:

This recipe is quick! Place your Epsom salt in the bottom of the jar. Add essential oils and swirl around to evenly distribute the oil. Fill the rest of the way with distilled or purified water just leaving a little bit of room at the top to ensure it doesn’t overflow when you put the spray head on. Shake to mix, and you’re ready to go! I’ve used the labels I linked to earlier, but I’ve also had some fun with decorative tape as a label option.

Great For After All The Holiday Shopping…

Soothing Minty Foot Cream

Things you will need:

Add all of the ingredients to a stand mixer (or a hand mixer bowl) with the whisk attachment. It should take a couple of minutes to whip up to a pretty, light and fluffy mixture. If after a couple minutes it’s not quite fluffy enough, don’t give up! Keep it going until it does. Scoop into the jar, and top it off with a pretty label!

That’s a wrap! I hope you have fun making these fun holiday gifts! If you are new to essential oils check out this post and this one to find out more about these wonderful oils. They are also a great help with hormones.
