Honey French Dressing Recipe

Honey-French-Dressing-2

French dressing is our family’s favorite. Specifically Wishbone Western Dressing. A salad just isn’t a salad without it. End of story. 😉

But trying to find a healthy version of French dressing, that still tasted like our all time favorite, was near to impossible. I’m so excited to share this tweaked-countless-times dressing for all you Wishbone fans out there.

Because of the honey, this isn’t candida-diet friendly (until Stage 3 if you’re following Dr. Bakker’s 3-Stage diet). You can find a sugar-free version here.

Honey French Dressing (gluten-free)
Makes 2 pints

1/2 c. raw honey
1/2 c. melted coconut oil
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
2 Tbs. tomato paste
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (make sure the label says gluten-free)
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. celtic sea salt
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for about 1 minute.
  2. Store in refrigerator. (This lasts for at least 1 month.)
  3. Before use, you’ll need to let it sit out on the counter for the oils to melt, or place in a bowl of lukewarm water.
