Debunking The Stevia Myth

Debunking SteviaStevia is a naturally derived sweetener from a stevia rebaudiana shrub originally found in areas of Brazil and Paraguay. The leaves of the shrub are made into an extract that’s calorie free and 200-300 times sweeter than sugar.

This sweet plant has taken the health world by storm. It’s a natural sweetener with no calories, reported safe for diabetics, and tastes like sugar. Since this herb hit the lime light, healthy desserts made with stevia are enjoyed by diabetics and those on a candida diet.

But stevia is still a controversial topic. Is it safe? Does it cause fertility issues? How much is too much?

Join me today as I share my findings at Stacy Makes Cents.
