You can search for recipes in the dropdown menu or on the sidebar. Each recipe includes abbreviations to help you find those safe for your particular allergies and/or needs.

Because our food/health journey has changed several times over the years, this blog contains a variety of recipes: gluten-free, anti-candida, and traditionally prepared whole foods.

Travis, my hunk of burnin’ love, has gluten allergies so he eats gluten-free.

We’ve both had candida so we’re on an a “relaxed” anti-candida diet to keep it in check.

The kiddos and I are not gluten-free, however the health benefits of sourdough are such that I don’t make bread products anymore unless it’s with coconut flour (grain-free), soaked flour, or a sourdough recipe. The kids also eat a few more whole grains and fruits than Travis and I do so there might be some of those recipes here and there as well. :)

Have fun browsing!

I’m Paula - like many of you I wear a lot of hats. Child of God, wife of 17 years, mother of five, reluctant cook, full-time teacher, chocolate-snatcher, and children's author. Various family health issues including Lyme disease and candida has turned me into a 'researcher'. I don't have initials after my name, a degree in anything but motherhood, or a framed certificate on my wall. What I do have is a passion for understanding how our God-created bodies thrive or deteriorate based on what we put in it. Oh, and I also might mention homesteading, homeschooling, fitness, herbs, faith, and anything else I'm thinking about. . . like wow, I need to refill my tea. . .
